With its foundations set firmly in ancient yogic tradition and its emphasis on soft, flowing movements, Dru Yoga can help increase energy levels, ease back pain, and wash away stress. Designed to be practised by people of all abilities, fitness levels and age groups, it is a style of yoga that can be quickly dipped into our learnt in more depth over a lifetime. It is now taught in many different countries, and as such has helped us become one of the largest Yoga organisations in the world. As hundreds of our students are finding every day, at it's most simple, Dru Yoga helps relieve the pressures of modern living.
Dru Yoga is the backbone to our activities here at Dru; it inspires us in everything we do. We've taught it for over twenty five years, across the world, to all age groups and fitness levels.
Based upon soft, flowing movements, controlled breathing and visualisation, it is both a graceful and potent form of stress relief. With its foundations set firmly in ancient yogic tradition, Dru Yoga is a style that has been passed down by generations. It works on both the body and the mind, rejuvenating the soul, strengthening core stability and building a heightened feeling of positivity and empowerment.
We offer under graduate courses, spanning one to four years leading to membership of the Professional Register of Dru Yoga Teachers. For those that want to continue their development there is always the option to take further courses at post graduate level. Over the years we have trained thousands of students and with more than 700 under graduates currently training with us, not only has the global Dru network grown but we now find ourselves as one of the largest yoga organisations.
At its heart however, the aims of Dru Yoga remain simple; to help relieve the enormous stresses and pressures of modern-day living. And this simplicity is why we continue to believe in it so strongly.
